Personality:
She used to be a bubbly, loving and cheerful girl who danced to her duels. After hearing the news of her village’s destruction and family’s death, all you see now is a silent, cold and pretty much emotionless girl, haunted by the thoughts of it, walking around with a sabre and a book dangling on chains. Though, if she does open her heart to you, it might be a different person altogether. She’s actually still the old caring and cheerful girl deep inside.

History/Background:
When Aera was younger, she and her two brothers were raised in a middle classed family. When she grew older, she took up fencing from her father, a well-known sabre practitioner in the local village. Although she wasn’t as skilled as most of the older fencers, her light weight enables her to be more evasive than most of her other peers. As she grew older, so did her skills. She was so swift that her duels looked as if, it were a dance.
A few years later, she decided to leave home to travel around the world to learn more about sword play and to duel with different kinds of people and races. Before leaving home, her father entrusted her with the family’s treasure, a sabre with a ruby encrusted hilt, said to be forged by the dwarfs and enchanted with the powers of nature, passed down from generation to generation. It was supposed to be a sort of good luck charm and weapon all in one.
Unfortunately, when the war broke out again, news of her family’s death and destruction of her village drove her pure heart into chaos. She started looking for ways to be stronger and more powerful. She picked up a bloody Grimoire from a fallen necromancer after one of her fights. Hungry for power, she opened it and tried to learn the dark arts in an attempt to grow stronger. Little did she know, not being one from the depths of Ares, the book corrupted her soul and consumed her life energy little by little, till one day, she fell to her own lust for power.
Since then, she wonders around the land, killing anything in her way, the graceful dance of death, and the tinkling sounds of the chains on her Grimoire with every slash of her sword. Although she’s dead, she still retains most of her human attributes, memories and personality.

She’s light, she’s fast, she’s quick.

Her first and mostly used art of the sword, she uses during duels and fights.
Due to her agility, she utilizes it to her advantage dealing swift blows to her enemies
Offhand parrying
Even without a shield, she occasionally draws a bone dagger to block any incoming blows that she might not be able to parry with her main sabre.
Minor black magic
Basic black magic, enhanced occasionally by the powers hidden within her sword.
